The Health ID Emergency ID Bracelet includes an emergency badge with an alarm bracelet that allows you to keep important medical information in one place. Healthcare providers and emergency personnel can access information via a smartphone, tablet or computer. It works the same way as the Key2Life and CARE bracelets. Adding, managing, and tracking all aspects of your health is easy with the simple MyHealth Health ID platform. You can use it to consolidate your medical conditions, allergies, chronic disease management, emergency contacts and more. After entering your information into the system, you can track and update it using the table. You can also use the MyHealth panel to manage all your medications: just add them to your profile and set reminders via SMS or e-mail to remind them to take them as prescribed. Your account is password protected so nobody can update your information, but anyone with access to the bracelet or card can see the information you've published. This identification bracelet and associated software also includes a disease control tool that allows you to track any illness, such as diabetes or high blood pressure. Depending on the state, a specific map may appear on your dashboard. For example, if you add diabetes, you will see a glucose level map that will help you keep track of your daily readings. Emergency overview. Although there are many ways for healthcare professionals to access your information, a smartphone or Internet access is required. Physicians can use an NFC-enabled smartphone and simply tap the device on the medical alarm card or bracelet, scan a QR code with a smartphone or tablet, or access the Health ID Web site and enter a number known only as your medical identification profile or HIP code. Currently, Apple devices are not compatible with NFC, so iPhone users must use the Internet or scan the QR code on the ID card. The Health ID Emergency Bracelet is a decent mid-range device that offers many features for the price. With the included ID card you have a backup copy for occasions when you do not want to wear or forget the bracelet. However, medical personnel need to look for the card if they are not wearing the bracelet, and they need to know how to use a smartphone or internet access to see something.
